An Ancient Technique
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the stimulation of a specific set of points on a body with the intent to heal and maintain the body’s natural mechanisms of wellbeing. This method of healing was developed in China thousands of years ago.
Modern research supports acupuncture as a valid healing method. Upon stimulating acupuncture points, endorphins and other pain relieving chemicals have been demonstrated to be released into the body.
